Subjects of hectic lifestyles, 3 friends came together in 2011 to set up Freshman, a fruits and juice retail kiosk in Singapore. Their goal was not only to improve diets, but to also put a smile on the faces of busy shoppers and office workers.

With the opening of their fifth outlet, we were asked to update and strengthen the brand identity.

It was apparent from the start that the fruit characters were the best tools to convey the brand’s intent – to promote healthy lifestyle through diet and laughter.

With that in mind, we created a new logo as well as developed a fresh set of fruit characters accompanied by interesting names and background stories. These characters would be used as point of interests at the kiosk, on the packaging and online communications, effectively reinforcing the brand mission.
